Before you spend your next $100k on ads, you should learn how to:

Write better copy

By running more reliable creative tests
By testing new concepts closer to the point of purchase
To increase the efficiency of all of your existing marketing efforts
To learn valuable insights about your existing customers
And uncover blind spots in your marketing funnels

To make more money

The problem: most creative strategists are busy, but not impactful.

Your creative strategist is about to spend an hour looking at competitor ads, pinterest boards, and what's working in your ad account, then they'll throw 50 more ideas at your editing team to work on this week... Any maybe that'll work...

But I'm sure it's not the best way to run creative ops. It's not the way I've leveraged creative strategy to grow brands, beat forecasts, and add dollars to the P&L.

Creative strategists usually start at the top. They think about top of funnel, attention-grabbing ideas. They start with what might be top of mind for your customers. It's important work, but it's not where I start my creative process.

By definition, "Top of Funnel" is really far away from where real purchase decisions happen. What's top of mind for your customers is often unrelated to the subconscious reasons that actually drive someone to trade their dollars for your product.

So I started taking a bottoms up approach to copywriting & creative strategy: I started testing new concepts on landing pages & product pages, just one step before a customer clicks "add to cart." The goal of this is to get more reliable results, I wanted to learn what really motivates our customers to buy close to the point of purchase. Once I learned what increases conversions on site, then I move up-funnel. Then I start to find more creative ways to communicate that core, conversion-driving message in an attention-grabbing, scroll-stopping way. This results in higher conversion rates on site, a higher hit rate on ads, less wasted spend on poor performing concepts, and a creative strategy process that extends beyond the ad account and infiltrates every layer of your marketing funnel.

In short, i write better copy to make you more money

For the last 8 years, I’ve served as CMO & VP of Marketing for 7, 8, and 9 figure brands, and the most impactful thing I did to help thoes brands grow profitably was dial in our creative system. Now, I’m building that same system for clients, with my Bottoms Up approach to copywriting as the cornerstone.

My current clients were sick of dumping a ton of time and effort into creating ads that don't scale, don't perform, and at best, perform well for a time, but fatigue quickly. By starting at the bottom, by learning insights about our customers based on which headlines & copy cause them to buy, then we take those learnings to the ad account. So, if you're not doing this, and your creative team is about to drop another 30 random ideas into your ad account this week, you should pause and ask yourself, how can you build your creative system to be more reliable? More consistent? More rooted in the core motivations that cause your customers to buy? If you want me to build out this system for your team, I just need 60 days, and I guarantee we'll see enough performance increases to pay for my entire retainer, or I'll work for you for free until I do.

“He beat our control by 2x”

Before Nate, our testing was focused entirely on the ad account. He helped us change our thinking to the Bottoms Up way: Fix the page, test the headlines, then scale the ads. Some of our biggest wins since came from page tests we never would've run, including a headline test that beat our control by 2x."
